Gymnast Corner
We've always known that our gymnasts are a multi-talented, intelligent and special group of girls. Now we're thrilled to be able to share their accomplishments with you!
Regional Floor Champ!
Congratulations to
Kiersten Graber!
A superb floor
routine earned her
a 9.3 and the title
of 2007 Region 1
Level 8 Floor
Champion. Wow!
Placing 7th on
Beam, 8th on
Vault, and 10th
All Around at her
first trip to
Regionals,
Kiersten capped off her Level 8 season with a bang! What an
inspiration to all of the younger, up-and-coming gymnasts at North Sky. We are so lucky to have her and can't wait to see what she does in the 2007-2008 season!
Outstanding Pageant Contestant!
We were so honored and proud to sponsor Kirsten Van Horne in the National American Miss of Arizona Pageant, held in July 2007. The purpose of this pageant is to assist
the development of young women and
to encourage our future leaders. Kirsten did so well in the competition that she won 2nd place for Outstanding Program Participation, Spirit of America and Miss Arizona Pre-Teen 4th Runner Up. She was invited to attend the National Competition in Disneyland, but chose instead to focus on her school work and gymnastic's training. Kirsten had so much fun the first time around that she will compete again in 2008. We have no doubt that she'll do well again!
